Welcome, everyone, to The Conservative Column!
I am one of your authors, JM, who will be working as part of this grassroots effort to bring some balance to the mainstream, liberally leaning blogs of the interwebs. As a Conservative, I'll be reporting and writing opt-ed pieces on the biggest news coming from Washington and around the world, and yes, a Conservative position will be taken upon most of them, so heads up on that.
A little more into the blog itself: there are a few other authors to this blog, and I'm fairly sure, soon enough, they'll make themselves known. The blog itself will have both serious tones and satirical tones, depending on the story, and of course, it will be point-of-view-based, so the writer will take the position they choose, and the writing will reflect it. We’re not simply reporting the news; we’re taking our own position on it.
Of course, since us Conservatives are oh-so-very patriotic; we want to see posts from both sides of the aisle. We want to know what the Left thinks of our stance, and we'd like to see constructive feedback in the comments when possible.
In any case, welcome to The Conservative Column! We look forward to bringing you many interesting posts both now and in the future!
